"Sit" Training

To teach a dog to sit, you can try these steps:

1. Hold a treat: While your dog is standing, hold a treat near their nose.

2. Move the treat: Slowly move your hand over your dog's head in an arc.

3. Reward the sit: When your dog sits, praise them and give them the treat.

4. Add a cue word: Once your dog is reliably sitting, add the word "sit" as they go to sit.

5. Fade the lure: Use an empty hand to lure your dog and reward them with a treat from your other hand.

6. End training: Give an "okay" cue to let your dog know training is over.
